Downloaded digital music has displaced the CD as the music media of choice. The online music stores of Amazon, iTunes and Walmart have emerged as the leading sellers of downloaded music. Dozens of websites let you compare prices on books, music and other physical goods, but as more of our media is downloaded, there hasn't been a way to compare prices on digital music... until now.

DownloadShopper.com lets you compare prices on individual tracks and whole albums between the three major online music stores. Song prices range from 74 cents to 99 cents per song, and album prices can vary by several dollars. Saving 5, 10 or 15 cents might not sound like much, but an avid music fan can save a lot of money, and why not get the most value for your dollar?

Start your search using the search tool above. You can find songs by artist name or song name. You can search whole album prices by selecting "album" and entering the artist or album name.
